Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in Worksop.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with production and other departments to maintain and improve quality standards, drive continuous improvement and ensure best practice is embedded across the site.

• Conduct shop-floor process audits
• Monitor manufacturing quality using SPC and 3D measurement software.
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and Ishikawa.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
• Inspect incoming materials and subcontracted work.
• Manage non-conforming material, including quarantine, documentation and disposition.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and engineering requirements.

• Ideally 5+ years' experience in quality control/quality assurance within manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confident working on the shop floor and able to build strong relationships across a business.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and report-writing ability.
• Good IT/computer skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
