Location: Titchfield, Hampshire (transitioning to Daedalus, Lee-on-the-Solent)

Contract: Initial 6-month contract with likely extension

Rate: £38.00 p/h PAYE or £43.52 p/h PAYE including holiday pay (£50.49 p/h Umbrella equivalent)





We are recruiting Quality Engineers to support a major aerospace manufacturing relocation and industrialisation programme.

The project involves the transfer of manufacturing operations from the existing Titchfield facility to a new state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence at Daedalus. A key objective of the programme is to establish a standalone production capability at the new site, replicating and transferring existing manufacturing processes while maintaining product quality, customer compliance, and operational continuity.

The facility supports major commercial aerospace customers including Boeing, Airbus, and other OEMs.



Role Responsibilities

  • Support quality activities associated with manufacturing transfer and site relocation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and internal quality management systems.
  • Investigate product and process non-conformances and lead root cause analysis activities.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to ensure issues are effectively resolved.
  • Support validation and qualification of new equipment, tooling, and production processes.
  • Conduct process, product, and system audits.
  • Analyse quality data and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Programme teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the programme lifecycle.


Essential Experience

  • Quality Engineering experience within aerospace manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements.
  • Experience managing non-conformances and corrective action activities.
  • Working knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, RCCA, FMEA, and SPC.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.


Desirable Experience

  • Manufacturing transfer or site relocation project experience.
  • Industrialisation or NPI experience.
  • Lead/Internal Auditor experience.
  • Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
