Our client, a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Inspector with day-to-day quality activities
- Create and execute CMM programmes
- Manage calibration activities and maintain calibration records
- Investigate quality concerns and drive effective resolutions
- Raise concessions, SNCRs and support 8D investigations
- Record and analyse non-conforming products
- Conduct contract reviews and provide quality feedback
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Identify potential quality risks and non-compliances
- Prepare ISIRs and PPAP documentation
- Create and maintain Special Packing Methods (SPMs)
- Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend daily operational meetings and contribute to problem-solving activities
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience within a Quality Engineering role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using specialist measuring equipment
- Knowledge of CMM programming
- Understanding of calibration processes and quality systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
