Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.

Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 16:00pm)

Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring products and processes comply with customer and legal requirements and expectations.

Duties of the Quality Engineer:

• Ensuring AS9100 & ISO9001 quality standards are maintained
• Assisting with external customer and national accredited audits
• Routinely audit existing internal processes for compliance
• Chairing problem solving workshops
• Supporting the wider quality department with internal quality issues
• Work with operators to ensure compliance of products
• Record any process of product deviations and act upon them

The successful candidate for the Quality Engineers position will have the following experience:

• 3 – 5  years experience working as a Quality Engineer (Essential)
• Experience working to AS9100 quality standards (Essential)
• Working knowledge of 8D’s, PFMEA’s, & APQP (Essential)
• Ability to conduct audits (Desirable)
