Full-Time Permanent - Monday-Friday on site

Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a hands-on role where you can genuinely influence quality, reduce rejects and drive continuous improvement?
We are working with a well-established global manufacturer in West Yorkshire who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and play a key role in improving quality performance across the site.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, data analysis, auditing and continuous improvement, rather than simply maintaining paperwork.

Responsibilities
• Drive month-on-month reject reduction across the business.
• Lead and support root cause and problem-solving activities, including 8D, A3, 5 Why and Fishbone.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Support internal, customer and third-party ISO9001 audits.
• Carry out process, product and compliance audits.
• Work closely with suppliers to drive quality and improvement initiatives.
• Oversee process capability studies and SPC activity.
• Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activity.
• Manage customer and internal non-conformances through to resolution.
• Ensure quality data, dashboards, KPIs and corrective actions are accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, QA and suppliers to improve processes and standards.

The Person
• Previous industry experience working within a Quality Engineer role.
• A degree in an engineering discipline.
• Happy to challenge processes and drive improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO9001.
• Experience with problem solving tools 8D, A3, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone.
• Experience conducting or supporting audits.
• A Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualification would be preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Good Microsoft Office/IT skills.
