Quality Inspection Supervisor

We're looking for a hands-on Inspection Supervisor to join our Quality team. You'll carry out day-to-day roving inspections across production while supervising two inspectors (Goods In and First-Sign Off), helping protect product quality, print quality, stock integrity and customer confidence.
What you'll do:
- Check product and print quality against approved samples, artwork and production standards
- Hold, recheck or escalate suspect work based on evidence, not pressure
- Supervise and coach two inspection colleagues, maintaining coverage and record discipline
- Oversee first-off approvals, Goods In checks and returns/reject handling
- Support ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 audits and keep inspection forms and procedures current
- Contribute to interviews for inspection roles as the quality subject-matter expert
- Practical experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, print or warehousing
- Confidence carrying out hands-on inspection throughout the day — this isn't a desk-based role
- Experience supervising or coaching colleagues in an operational setting
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with close visual/colour checks
- Clear written and verbal communication for records, handovers and escalations
- Good digital skills (spreadsheets, photo evidence, electronic forms)
- Awareness of ISO 9001/14001 audit expectations is a plus
