Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a highly established precision engineering company in Aldershot in their search for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key part in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is a varied position covering the full inspection cycle, from incoming goods through to final inspection.
Duties will include:
- Visual and dimensional inspection of precision machined components.
- First-off, in-process and final inspection activities.
- Incoming goods inspection of raw materials and components prior to release to production.
- Working closely with machinists and production teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout manufacture.
- Operating manual inspection equipment and CMM machinery..
- Completion of inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, drawings and quality standards.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates with:
- Previous experience within a Quality Inspector position in a precision engineering or machining environment.
- Strong visual and dimensional inspection skills.
- Experience inspecting precision machined components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges and gauges.
- CMM experience, ideally with Aberlink software, although training can be provided.
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
Salary
- Salary of £33,000 - £39,000 depending on experience.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Dayshift working pattern.
- Early finish every Friday.
- Training and support provided.
