As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to help ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

The Role

Working as part of our Quality team, you'll carry out inspection activities throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring components meet engineering drawings, customer specifications and regulatory requirements. You'll play a key role in supporting Right First Time manufacturing, maintaining product traceability and driving quality improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out in-process and final inspections using a range of precision measuring equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify product conformity.
  • Support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102 and customer requirements.
  • Record inspection results accurately, ensuring full traceability and compliance with APQP control plans.
  • Support NCR investigations, RCCA activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve Right First Time performance.
  • Participate in internal, customer and third-party audits.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised inspection area in line with company procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3 years' experience in an aerospace or precision engineering inspection role.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges and torque tools.
  • A good understanding of AS9102, APQP, MSA, SPC and quality inspection processes.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience supporting NCR and RCCA activities.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to quality.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • HNC/HND in Engineering or Manufacturing, or equivalent industry experience.
