🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday (6am - 4pm)
💰 Salary: £17 - £20 per hour (Depending on experience)
💼 Reporting To: Production Manager

The Opportunity

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a reputable precision engineering company based in Rugby, who are looking to add a Qualtiy Inspector to their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Using calibrated inspection equipment including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and thread gauges.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to verify product conformity. 
• Performing detailed inspections of both turned and milled components across a wide range of sizes and tolerances. 
• Supporting CMM inspection activities where appropriate. 
• Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining full traceability of inspection data.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within a quality inspection position is required.
• Previous experience in a precision machining environment is required.
• Experience with CMM is desirable.
• Ability to use measuring equipment is required (verniers, micrometres, etc).
