Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £31,871.15 Basic Salary + 12.5% Shift Allowance = £34,642
Shift Pattern: Mornings & Afternoons Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm rotating weekly)

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing business in Sheffield. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished components meet both company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections using height gauges, verniers, and micrometres
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation
• Support and participate in internal and external audits
• Identify and raise non-conformances, providing feedback to production
• Use part marking equipment and produce data cards/documentation for dispatch
• Promote a quality-focused culture across the shop floor
• Follow SOPs to meet production and delivery targets
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment

Experience:

• Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role (essential)
• Strong understanding of quality standards and processes (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable)
• Experience using a FARO arm (desirable)
• Background within highly regulated sectors
• Engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent) (desirable)
