Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Quality Inspector for their production facility in Tuxford.

As the Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, British Standards and internal quality requirements, working closely with production teams to maintain the highest manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections throughout the manufacturing process from goods in to final sign off 
  • Verify dimensions, tolerances and finishes against engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Conduct and record quality inspections and testing throughout production.
  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Complete inspection records, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective action documentation.
  • Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, relevant British Standards and company quality procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve quality issues and promote best practice.
  • Champion safe working practices and support the company's health, safety and environmental objectives.
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection position and enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider production team.
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
