Our client is seeking a Quality Inspector to take ownership of inspection and quality processes within a manufacturing environment. This varied role combines hands-on inspection, audits and quality documentation, with responsibility for maintaining standards, identifying improvements and supporting production teams.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, machined components, fabrications and finished products.
- Use CMM and Faro Arm equipment to verify product quality and compliance.
- Lead internal and external audits, investigations and root cause analysis activities.
- Complete quality documentation, including FAIRs, inspection reports, NDT reports and certification packs.
- Manage the calibration programme and maintain inspection equipment records.
- Work closely with production teams to drive quality standards.
About You
- Quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
- CMM and/or Faro Arm programming experience, ideally using PolyWorks.
- Background in motorsport, aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of inspection processes, measurement and quality standards.
- NDT certification beneficial, but full training can be provided.
