Our client is a leading global manufacturer of innovative fluid-flow and mechanical systems and is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team!

The Quality Inspector will inspect materials and manufactured products, maintain accurate quality records and work with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, work-in-progress items and finished products
  • Ensure components comply with engineering drawings and quality standards
  • Read and interpret dimensional engineering drawings, including GD&T
  • Use precision inspection equipment, including Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs and FARO equipment
  • Accurately document inspection results and identify deviations from specifications
  • Raise and maintain non-conformance reports and communicate findings
  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain inspection records, quality documentation and calibration information
  • Help review and update inspection procedures and protocols
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly
  • Ensure inspection activities comply with ISO 9001 and company standards
  • Support internal and external quality audits
  • Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and process efficiency
  • Follow health and safety procedures and report potential hazards

Quality Inspector Ideal Candidate:

  • Quality assurance or inspection experience within manufacturing or engineering
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T
  • Confidence using precision inspection and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge of root-cause analysis, CAPA and calibration processes
  • A strong understanding of ISO 9001
  • ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 knowledge would be advantageous
  • An ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, data analysis and report writing
  • Experience with HVAC or control systems would be beneficial

Quality Inspector Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Friday: 07:00 to 13:00
  • This is a full-time, permanent and site-based Quality Inspector position
