On offer is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturer, where you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards whilst developing your skills to become the go-to-technical expert.
This company are a specialist manufacturer of engineered products, supplying into a range of industries. Due to recent expansion, they are looking to strengthen their Quality team.
In this Monday-Friday days-based role, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections on fabricated and manufactured components, interpreting engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment. You will also support continuous improvement, quality documentation and non-conformance investigations.
This role would suit a Quality Controller, Quality Inspector or Quality Technician from a Fabrication background looking for a stable role with opportunities todevelop within a growing business.
The Role:
- Monday - Friday days, 8am - 5pm.
- Quality inspections on fabricated and manufactured components, including in-process and final inspections.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, using precision measuring equipment and supporting ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement, quality documentation and non-conformance reporting.
The Person:
- Quality Controller / Quality Inspector / Quality Technician or similar.
- Experience within Engineering, Manufacturing, Fabrication or Welding environments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment such as Verniers, Micrometers and Gauges.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation advantageous.
