About the Client & Opportunity:

Our client is a leading global engineering and technical services organization tackling major challenges in science, security, and sustainability. Their Nuclear Power Programmes division supports positive change and helps shape the future of Nuclear Power.

Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, they are expanding their team across a variety of nuclear projects at different stages of development. They are seeking talented individuals committed to Net Zero and Energy Security to deliver major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.



Key Focus:

Supply-chain quality assurance, audits, inspections, documentation control, non-conformance management, and ensuring Right First Time delivery.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs).

  • Ensure supplier compliance with QA/QC and contractual requirements.

  • Coordinate inspections, surveillance activities, audits, and testing.

  • Review quality documentation, LTQRs, manufacturing and construction records.

  • Monitor non-conformances and corrective actions.

  • Support quality release, handover activities, and continuous improvement.

  • Act as an "Intelligent Customer" overseeing supply-chain quality performance.



Essential Requirements:

  • QA/QC experience in nuclear or other safety-critical industries.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 19443, IAEA GSR-2 and quality management systems.

  • Experience with supplier audits, inspections, and supply-chain assurance.

  • Strong stakeholder management, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent engineering/science qualification.
