Actio Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful manufacturing company based in Redhill.

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of the company's quality function and ensure the highest standards of compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation within its industry.

Senior Quality Engineers looking to take the next step in their career and move into a Quality Manager position will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ATEX requirements, customer specifications, and relevant industry standards.
  • Lead and coordinate internal, external, certification, and customer audits.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality procedures, processes, and documentation.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventative actions.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Monitor, assess, and manage supplier performance.
  • Maintain and develop the approved supplier list.
  • Liaise with customers regarding quality and compliance matters.
  • Produce quality metrics and reports for management review.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or Senior Quality Engineer position within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience managing internal and external audits.
  • Proven experience investigating quality issues and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing supplier quality and supplier performance.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Desirable

  • Previous Health & Safety responsibilities or experience within a manufacturing environment.
