The Opportunity

We are working with a growing technology and manufacturing business operating within highly regulated and technically demanding markets.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop quality activities across the manufacturing environment, ensuring products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory and internal requirements.

This is an opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of quality systems, drive continuous improvement and work closely with teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations and supply chain.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the company's quality management systems and processes.

You will work across the business to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Supporting compliance with relevant quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Leading internal and external audits and supporting corrective actions.
  • Driving root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitoring quality performance, trends and key quality metrics.
  • Supporting non-conformance, defect and customer complaint processes.
  • Working with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality.
  • Supporting supplier quality and supplier improvement activities.
  • Ensuring appropriate quality documentation, records and traceability are maintained.
  • Supporting new product introduction and process changes from a quality perspective.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Quality professional who has worked within a an electronic manufacturing environment.

You are likely to have experience with:

  • Quality Management Systems, ideally ISO 9001 and/or other relevant industry standards.
  • Internal and external audits.
  • Root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
  • CAPA, non-conformance and corrective action processes.
  • Continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Quality assurance and process control within an electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Supplier quality and customer quality requirements.
  • Quality data, KPI reporting and trend analysis.
  • Risk management and tools such as FMEA, 8D and SPC.
  • Working collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
