An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a growing team within a well-established UK manufacturing business with a global customer base.
The Quality Manager will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, ensuring products and processes consistently meet regulatory, industry and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage and develop the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician teams.
Drive a strong culture of continuous improvement, problem solving and prevention.
Manage internal quality systems, audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventative actions using tools such as 8D and Practical Problem Solving.
Monitor and improve quality KPIs and performance.
Manage calibration, inspection and measurement systems.
Develop and manage supplier quality assurance, audits and improvement programmes.
Support APQP, PPAP and new product introductions.
Ensure supplier and customer quality issues are effectively contained and prevented from recurring.
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement and other key stakeholders to improve product and process quality.
Experience & Qualifications
Quality Management, Engineering or equivalent technical qualification at Level 4 or above.
Proven leadership experience within a quality function in Automotive, Aerospace, Engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques.
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Understanding of MRP/manufacturing systems would be advantageous.

Hours & Benefits
40 hours per week: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-13:30.
