Are you a Quality Assurance Manager passionate about elevating standards and ensuring customer satisfaction? We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality across our site. In this role, you will collaborate closely with retailers, production teams, and senior leadership to maintain compliance, enhance competitiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

This food manufacturer has doubled its workforce over recent years and recently acquired an additional site to support ongoing growth. They are renowned for producing high-quality products using advanced production technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team, ensuring robust quality and food safety standards are maintained
• Manage BRCGS compliance and oversee a rigorous internal audit programme, implementing effective corrective actions
• Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality incidents to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Analyse quality data and trends proactively to prevent issues from escalating
• Serve as a primary contact for retail customers, presenting audit findings and driving improvement plans
• Provide support to the wider Technical team on HACCP, product specifications, and customer audits as required

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager within food manufacturing
• Direct experience working with major UK retailers
• Comprehensive knowledge of the BRCGS Food Safety Standard
• Demonstrable success in gap analysis and implementing improvement plans
• Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
• HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3 qualifications, and a full UK driving licence
