Quality Manager

We are proud to be partnering with a leading client in the food manufacturing industry to recruit an experienced Quality Manager. This is a pivotal role within the site technical function, reporting directly to the Technical Manager. You will take ownership of quality across the site, leading a dedicated team and ensuring the business operates to the very highest standards at all times.
Key responsibilities:
-Directly lead and develop the on-site quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
-Maintain site audit readiness at all times, ensuring full compliance with BRC standards and all customer requirements.
-Manage, maintain, and continually improve the site's Quality Management Systems (QMS).
-Deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence, providing strong technical and strategic leadership across the site function.
-Lead and manage all external audits on site, including BRC certification audits and customer visits, acting as the primary point of contact.
Essential Requirements:
-Proven ability to lead and manage a team
-Strong knowledge of BRC standards
-Sound understanding of HACCP principles
-Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing
-HACCP and Food Safety qualification
-Food-related degree
