Quality & Product Standards Manager - Bournemouth - Up to £40,000 per annum

You'll take ownership of product safety and supplier compliance for a well-established specialist retailer in Bournemouth.

As a Quality and Product Standards Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Define and lead the strategy for QAQC processes and supplier compliance programmes across all product categories
  • Manage supplier audit programmes, including ethical audits such as SEDEX/SMETA
  • Support product safety and recall processes, working closely with Trading Standards
  • Analyse quality, complaint and audit data to identify trends and prioritise risk
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, test laboratories and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and reporting frameworks

As a Quality and Product Standards Manager, your experience will include:

  • Strong background in QAQC or product compliance within retail, sourcing, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience managing supplier compliance and ethical audit programmes
  • Highly analytical approach, confident interpreting data and assessing risk
  • Clear, confident communicator, able to translate technical detail into practical guidance
  • Experience developing or maintaining quality systems and reporting frameworks
  • Willingness to learn is valued as highly as existing product knowledge
