Position: Quality Inspector / Quality Technician
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 16:30, Friday 07:00 – 12:00
Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits

Location: Commutable from Basingstoke, Aldershot, Bracknell, Farnham, Camberley, Guildford and surrounding areas

Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector / Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections of manufactured components.
Use a range of measuring equipment including Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges and other inspection tools.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Record and maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records.
Support investigations into non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis activities.
Assist with internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Support calibration activities and ensure inspection equipment remains compliant.
Participate in customer and supplier quality-related activities when required.
Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience within a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or similar Quality role.
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
Experience using a variety of inspection and measuring equipment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Driving license
