Description

    • Manage and coordinate the raw material supplier approval and monitoring process.
    • Review, assess, and approve raw material specifications to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct supplier risk assessments, audits, and performance reviews, maintaining Approved Supplier records.
    • Investigate supplier non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
    • Support raw material and finished product testing programmes, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
    • Maintain supplier and quality documentation while supporting food safety, certification, and quality management systems.

Profile

A successful Quality Technologist should have:

    • 1-2years' experience in a Quality, Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality technologist role within the food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing sectors.
    • Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, and GFSI-recognised standards.
    • Knowledge of UK and EU food legislation, supplier approval processes, and quality compliance requirements.
    • Analytical, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and experience in data analysis, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
