The Role

We're working with a world-class engineering services organisation to find a Quantity Surveyor to join a newly forming team based out of their Tunbridge Wells office. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, while still tapping into national clients and teams.

You'll be joining a business operating across some of the most exciting parts of the complex infrastructure sector; including defence, energy, highways, rail, utilities and water. With genuine scope to shape your own career path depending on where your interests lie.







What You'll Be Doing

  • Cost planning and estimation across the full lifecycle of your projects
  • Gathering and analysing data to define client and stakeholder needs
  • Producing analysis and benchmarking reports that promote value for money and identify cost trends and drivers
  • Championing innovation and working cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement
  • Supporting or leading the development of tools that integrate data, dashboards and unit cost analysis outputs
  • Administering a variety of contracts to maintain commercial control and compliance
  • Managing contract change collaboratively and effectively, as appropriate to project needs






What We're Looking For

  • Experience in commercial roles/functions on large capital programmes
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Confident stakeholder management and client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Solid problem-solving capability
  • Experience across common forms of contract, ideally NEC
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent); RICS membership preferred
