Quantity Surveyor - Job Overview

A specialist Mechanical Contractor based in Essex, with over 60 years of industry experience, is looking for an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Projects Division.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the management of contractual and financial aspects of M&E projects across Commercial & Healthcare sites, including preparing Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P&L Reports, and Cost Estimates.

This role will be suitable for junior to intermediate-level Quantity Surveyors, and it would be ideal if the candidate has worked on M&E Projects/Construction within the commercial industry.

Quantity Surveyor - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
• Monday to Friday
• 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday

Quantity Surveyor - Job Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and numerical and analytical skills.
• Understanding of construction/M&E contracts and procurement processes.
• Be able to manage applications, valuations, variations, subcontract accounts, CVRs and final accounts.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable to hold relevant QS qualifications
