I’m working with a multi-million-pound energy business that is continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Bellshill.

With a solid pipeline of work, a strong position within the energy market and a number of exciting projects ahead, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS looking for a long-term career move.

The Role

This is a predominantly office-based Quantity Surveyor position, providing commercial support across the business and its growing portfolio of projects.

You’ll take responsibility for key commercial activities, working closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully from a commercial and contractual perspective.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Civil or electrical engineering experience preferred
• Experience within the energy, infrastructure, construction or engineering sectors
• Strong experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts
• Excellent commercial and contract management skills
• Experience with forecasting, cost reporting, valuations and variations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership and provide senior commercial guidance
