Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is recruiting for an established multidisciplinary construction consultancy seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of public and private sector projects across London and the South East, without the daily commute into London.

Projects range from £500,000 to £40m, covering both pre- and post-contract services.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in:

• Cost estimating in accordance with NRM1
• Procurement and tendering
• Working with the JCT suite of contracts
• Project financial control and reporting
• Valuations and cost management
• Risk management
• Supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifying commercial and business development opportunities

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 3 years' professional consultancy experience, ideally within the public sector.

MRICS status is preferred, although candidates with strong relevant experience will also be considered.

You will have excellent technical knowledge across cost management and quantity surveying, together with strong communication skills and the ability to develop trusted client relationships.

Experience using CostX or similar measurement software would be advantageous.
