Project: High end, private client residential refurbishment

Contract value: £5m, cost plus

Location: Sloane Square/ Belgravia

• Structural refurbishment to a single private property in a prominent and prestigious area of London. Work includes strip out, structural alterations, layout reconfiguration, high quality bespoke fit out including extensive joinery and extensive imported stone installations throughout including extensive fit out of leisure facilities in the basement including swimming pool, sauna, cinema and entertainment areas.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

• Seeking a Quantity Surveyor who will be based between this project and their office. This is an exciting project to be part of. There will be extensive support from the commercial team, with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on another project within close proximity, an assistant on site and a visiting commercial manager.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining working relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
• Taking ownership of preparing valuations and final accounts, helping keep projects on track financially.
• You'll play a key role in monitoring project performance by producing monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account projections.
• Managing and agreeing client and sub-contractor variations.
• Managing subcontractor packages from start to finish, including re-measuring works, reviewing payment applications, and issuing accurate payment notices on time.
