Quantity Surveyor

Potters Bar | Office Based + Site Inspections | £70,000-£75,000

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established property services contractor based in Potters Bar.

This is a commercial role covering a range of residential property works, including voids, cladding and façade projects.

CVR experience is essential, with Coin Accountancy experience highly desirable.

• Commercial management of residential works from instruction through to completion.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, CVRs and overall commercial performance.
• Review subcontractor valuations, applications, variations and final accounts.
• Review scopes, specifications and pricing to ensure value for money.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with operational and surveying teams to maintain cost and programme control.
• Undertake site inspections where required.
• Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Background within property services, social housing, maintenance or refurbishment.
• Experience across voids, cladding, facades or external refurbishment.
• Strong CVR and cost-control experience - essential.
• Good knowledge of valuations, variations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder-management skills.
• Coin Accountancy experience desirable.
• RICS qualification desirable but not essential.
