Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a well-established and growing multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy that is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for providing cost management and commercial support across projects from inception through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, project teams and contractors, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets and detailed cost plans
• Managing procurement and tender processes
• Contract administration and commercial management
• Conducting valuations and cost reporting throughout project lifecycles
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Experience within a Quantity Surveying position, either consultancy or contractor-side
• A strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS status or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
