- Working closely with Project Managers and Planning Engineers to ensure progress and commercial reporting remain aligned.
- Maintaining detailed commercial records to support project costs, changes and claims.
- Attending and leading commercial meetings with clients and internal project teams.
- Negotiating with clients, subcontractors and their representatives.
- Supporting final-account preparation and agreement.
About You

- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual project management.
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts, applications, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Good understanding of contract conditions and their practical application.
- Experience developing BOQs and managing project costs.
- Strong change-management and record-keeping capability.
- Excellent Excel skills.

- Good understanding of how construction programmes affect project commercial performance.
Previous experience across HV substations, Power Transmission & Distribution, electrical infrastructure, switchgear or HV cabling would be highly advantageous.
However, candidates from M&E, utilities, renewables, civils or other major infrastructure environments will also be considered where they possess strong transferable commercial experience.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline would be advantageous. Candidates combining a commercial qualification with an electrical or engineering background would be particularly relevant.
