Quantity Surveyor - Landscaping

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of landscaping projects from procurement through to final account.
• Procure materials and subcontract packages.
• Prepare cost plans, forecasts, and commercial reports.
• Produce and agree valuations and final accounts.
• Manage project variations and contractual matters.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Support the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Develop strong supplier relationships while overseeing buying activities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4–5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience within landscaping, groundworks, civil engineering, or a similar subcontracting environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
