Quantity Surveyor – Fast-Track Fit Out & Refurbishment Background

Location: North West (Office & Site Based)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (DOE)
Package: Car Allowance or Company Vehicle + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Career Progression

LGP Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing fit-out contractor for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business delivering high-quality fast-track commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams to ensure successful commercial delivery.

The Role

• Take full commercial ownership of multiple fast-track fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Manage project costs from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare and manage procurement packages and subcontractor appointments.
• Produce valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts.
• Administer and manage both client and subcontractor contracts.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fast-track fit-out and refurbishment sector (essential).
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Experience managing both client-side and subcontractor accounts.
• Ability to independently manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
