As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role within an integrated project delivery team, providing essential commercial expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and successfully. You’ll be responsible for managing costs, supporting decision-making, and driving value throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of cost and commercial management across allocated projects
  • Prepare accurate cost reports, forecasts, valuations, and financial analysis
  • Provide commercial guidance and contractual support to project teams
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams to identify efficiencies and deliver value improvements
  • Manage change, maintain financial control, and support successful project outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, including project accounts and final accounts
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, contractual obligations, and client requirements

About You

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

Essential:

  • Strong experience in cost management within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure
  • Good understanding of construction processes, contracts, and health & safety requirements
  • Ability to build effective relationships with project teams and stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience working on infrastructure or utility projects
  • Ambition to develop a long-term career within commercial management
