Quantity Surveyor – Refurbishment, Construction & Specialist Projects

Are you a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor looking for a role where you can genuinely develop your career rather than simply maintain the status quo?

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected construction contractor delivering refurbishment, structural alteration, hospitality, assisted living and bespoke construction projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with approximately 3-5 years' industry experience who is keen to learn, develop and progress under the guidance of an experienced commercial leadership team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a business that actively invests in its people and offers a clear pathway towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level.

The Role

Working alongside the Commercial Director and project teams, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.

Key duties will include:

• Subcontractor procurement and account management
• Cost reporting, valuations and forecasting
• Managing variations and final accounts
• Contract administration and commercial reporting
• Supporting operational teams and maintaining strong client relationships

Projects typically include hospitality refurbishments, structural alterations, assisted living developments, hotel projects, bespoke residential schemes and general construction works.

About You

To be considered, you should possess:

• A Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification
• Around 3-5 years' experience within construction
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence

Main contractor or specialist subcontractor experience will be considered.
