Quantity Surveyor - NEC

The position will be based in an office in Birmingham for 3 days a week, with the other 2 days working from home.
The assignment will be for 9 months duration, with potential extension, and the day rate is £355 per day INSIDE IR35
On a day to day basis, you will:
- Manage contract administrative controls and monitoring requirements (using Oracle)
- Support internal and external assurance and governance requirements for extensions, variations and novation of contracts
- Support regulatory requirements associated with managing contracts, to ensure compliance with legislation
- Support on contractual issues and negotiations
- Complete audits of supplier obligations to ensure they're being carried out in accordance with contractual requirements
To be successful in this assignment, it is essential that you:
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying
- Have previous experience in working on Network Rail project, ideally in a client side role
- Have demonstrable experience in using Oracle and in administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts
