Summary
We’re recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial management on a major long-term construction project in Ardrossan. This role is ideal for professionals with strong NEC4 (option C) expertise and a background in M&E or building services. Location and Working Pattern
Ardrossan | Permanent | Site-based for approximately three days a week with flexibility for the remainder of the week.

Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor accounts and overall commercial performance
- Deliver accurate cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
- Oversee valuations, applications, and payment processes
- Manage variations, change control, and final accounts
- Handle procurement and subcontract management activities
- Operate within an NEC4 Option C contract framework
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience within M&E, building services, utilities, or related sectors
- Strong NEC4 / Option C experience
- Ability to manage subcontractors effectively
- Previous involvement on complex, large-scale projects
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Relevant qualifications are advantageous, but experience is key
- Background in M&E (preferred, though similar sectors considered)
