An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK construction business delivering high profile data centre projects. Working within a specialist team, you will play a key role in the commercial management of complex, technically demanding schemes from pre-construction through to final account.

Quantity Surveyor roles & responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of data centre construction projects.
- Prepare, review and administer subcontract packages.
- Procure subcontractors and manage tender processes.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow.
- Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
- Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks.
- Assess and negotiate variations and compensation events.
- Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts.
- Work closely with project managers, planners, design teams and site management to achieve commercial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Quantity Surveyor requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience working for a main contractor.
- Experience working on data centres, industrial, commercial or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, particularly JCT and NEC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
