This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established specialist contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of projects, support an Assistant QS and become a key part of the commercial team.

Established for over 20 years, this specialist contractor delivers brickwork and blockwork packages across commercial, residential, high-rise, student accommodation and mixed-use developments throughout London. The company has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliable delivery and long-term client relationships, with a growing pipeline of exciting projects.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of live projects, covering valuations, measurements, variations, cost control and client relationships. You will work autonomously while supporting an Assistant QS and playing an important role in the continued development of the commercial function.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys variety, responsibility and being involved across the full commercial process. Experience within brickwork, facades, groundworks or similar subcontract packages would be beneficial, but the key requirement is someone who is commercially driven, organised and wants to make an impact.

The Role:

* Managing commercial delivery across live construction projects
* Overseeing valuations, variations, take-offs and cost reporting
* Supporting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and wider commercial team
* Managing relationships with clients, contractors and project teams

The Person:

* Quantity Surveying experience within construction
* Knowledge of brickwork, facades, groundworks or similar packages advantageous
* Able to manage projects autonomously and take ownership
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
