Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme, supporting the commercial delivery of complex civil engineering works from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and commercial performance.
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment, and cost reports.
• Administering subcontractor packages, including procurement and payments.
• Managing variations, change control, and contractual matters.
• Supporting project forecasting and risk management activities.
• Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Proficient in cost reporting and contract administration.
• Membership of RICS or working towards chartership is desirable.
