Quantity Surveyor in Chichester, West Sussex

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Our client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor and they are recruiting for a project-level QS to deliver the commercials for a £3m highways project near Chichester. Working closely with the Senior QS and the client, using NEC4 contract, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute QS with 4+ years of experience to manage their own project with minimal supervision and can be offered on a hybrid working basis.

Responsibilities:

• Valuations
• Cost planning & change control
• Subcontractor payments
• Remeasurements
• CVR’s
• Monthly commercial forecasting/reporting
• Cash flow & progress reporting
• Final accounts and audits

Skills & qualifications:

• BEng/HNC in Quantity Surveying or by experience
• A background in civil engineering/highways
• Good working knowledge and understanding of NEC3/4 contracts
