Responsibilities:

• Attending sites to estimate
• Accurately review tender documents and drawings, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation as per SLA’s
• Responsible for calculating the costs of a project before work commences, covering everything from materials, labour, equipment hire, transport costs and everything in between.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum of three year's estimating experience in commercial building and property services environment
• 2 years post graduate experience within an Estimating position reporting to either a senior surveyor or a commercial manager
• Technically knowledgeable of general construction methods and how they are implemented
• Experience with excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the supply chain and/or external clients to ensure the business maximises profit
• Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
• HND (or higher) in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
• Knowledge of Causeway
• Proficient on MS Office including Excel.
• Good team player
• Uses initiative, can solve problems independently
• Demonstrates good judgement in decision making
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A dynamic individual motivated to work for the Jones Group

Salary negotiable dependant on experience
