We're assisting our client who is a powerhouse in the rail sector with a track record spanning major schemes across the UK and Europe on their search for an Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Major Rail Framework at their Hatfield Business Park office. This is a permanent role offering real career progression within a business that's only going from strength to strength.

What you'll be doing:

• Working closely alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, supporting the commercial and contractual delivery of multiple schemes at various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identifying risks and opportunities within contracts, helping protect margin and drive value.
• Building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to keep delivery on time and on budget.
• Getting hands-on exposure to the commercial side of large-scale rail infrastructure work - ideal for someone looking to fast-track their QS career.

What we're looking for:

• Experience within Infrastructure , Rail and/or Civil Engineering.
• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Rail sector experience is advantageous, but not essential - full support and mentoring will be provided.
• Confident communicator, comfortable managing subcontractors, suppliers, and their expectations.
