About the Role:
I'm working with a leading national office fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based out of their Bristol office. The company delivers high-quality CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across the UK for blue-chip clients, and due to continued growth, they’re looking to strengthen their QS team in the South West.
Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-outs or general commercial build to step into a role with strong autonomy and progression prospects. You'll work on a mix of pre- and post-contract responsibilities, managing costs and subcontractors across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation

Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts

Preparing valuations and processing applications for payment

Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance

Managing variations, change control, and final accounts

Working closely with project managers, designers, and site teams
Requirements:

3–5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with a fit-out or interiors contractor
-
HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Confident managing packages independently across multiple projects

Good working knowledge of JCT contracts

Based within commuting distance of Bristol

Full UK driving licence
