A well-established construction contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Bristol. The business delivers projects across multiple sectors and is known for its practical, client-focused approach and strong delivery standards.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with site teams and clients to ensure excellent commercial outcomes.

The Role

• Commercial management of projects from tender stage to final account

• Preparation and control of budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

• Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers

• Valuations, variations, and change control

• Contract administration and commercial reporting

• Working closely with site teams to manage risk and cost

• Supporting dispute avoidance and final account settlement

About You

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering

• Knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT and/or NEC)

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Good IT skills, including Excel and commercial software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence
