Mid Cornwall | Permanent | Full-Time

£65,000-£70,000 + Competitive Package

Sphere Solutions are working in partnership with a successful market leading regional contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery
• Administer contracts, with a strong focus on NEC forms of contract
• Prepare cost plans, budgets and financial forecasts
• Procure subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating the best commercial outcomes
• Prepare subcontract documentation & subcontractor accounts
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial performance
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare accurate monthly cost and value reports

About You

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS
• Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts
• Experience delivering refurbishment and/or new build construction projects
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
