Sphere Solutions are working with a Tier 1 Contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor, working on a local landmark schemes in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

The day to day….

• Sub-contractor procurement
• Commercial responsibility for more than one sites at any one time
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Reporting on financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow, etc.
• Contract compliance
• Sitting in on meetings and liaising with the client, subcontracts and supply chain
• Update and advise on all commercial information to the wider team

What we need from you…..

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a large regional contractor or Tier 1
• You will ideally have a HND or Degree in a construction related discipline.
• Strong cost management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to produce accurate valuations and reports
