We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing civil engineering and infrastructure business, working across a strong pipeline of drainage, highways, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

If you're commercially driven, confident with contracts and enjoy being involved from tender through to final account, this could be the next move for you.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of the commercial performance of your projects, including:

Managing project costs, budgets and profitability.

Producing CVRs, forecasts, WIP reports and commercial reporting.

Preparing and agreeing applications for payment.

Managing variations, compensation events and change control.

Working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.

Managing contracts, claims, final accounts and commercial risk.

Leading procurement and negotiating subcontractor and supplier rates.

Identifying opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs and maximise value.

Supporting tenders, pricing and pre-construction activities.

What We're Looking For

We’re keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have:

Experience in civil engineering, highways, drainage or groundworks.

Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contracts.

Excellent commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.

Strong Excel and cost-reporting experience.

A full UK driving licence.

Desirable: Experience within the National Highways supply chain, SOR-based pricing, CCTV/drainage repair works, and CVR/WIP reporting.
