I'm working with a well-established structural construction company in the East Midlands who are looking to strengthen their commercial team.

They're keen to hear from experienced QSs with a background in:

• Structural steel will be ideal

• Architectural or general metalwork

• Reinforced concrete

• Related construction sectors

The Role

Working as part of the commercial team, you'll play an important role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, helping to ensure they are delivered efficiently and commercially successfully.

Responsibilities may include:

• Managing project costs, budgets and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle

• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts

• Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages and variations

• Monitoring project expenditure, identifying potential risks and opportunities

• Managing contractual matters and ensuring compliance with project requirements

• Working closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors and the wider commercial team

• Supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects from initial stages through to completion
