Quantity Surveyor
Think Recruitment
I'm currently working with a well-established design and build contractor that's looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor into the team.
The business has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the hospitality, leisure and commercial sectors. They have a healthy pipeline of work, a supportive commercial team and are continuing to grow, so it's a good opportunity for someone looking for long-term progression.
The role will see you involved from pre-construction right through to final account, managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing project costs from start to finish.
- Preparing take-offs, Bills of Quantities and Scopes of Work.
- Procuring subcontractors and suppliers.
- Producing and managing procurement schedules.
- Preparing and issuing subcontract packages.
- Carrying out site visits.
- Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Producing CVRs and monitoring project profitability.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects remain commercially on track.
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
What they're looking for:
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
- Confident managing multiple projects at different stages.
- Strong commercial awareness with good negotiation skills.
- Someone who can work independently but is equally happy collaborating with the wider team.
- A proactive approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
